I knew about Redbox previously, but never found kiosks. Well, right down the street (on my way to and from work) is a Redbox kiosk. The DVDs are $1 and must be returned by "tomorrow" night at 9pm. So it's basically $1 per day. Cheap, right? However, like most retailers, Redbox has coupon codes. The coupon codes allow you to rent movies for FREE!
Oh, the website where you can get some good coupon codes is here.
Here is the original website. It says you will receive a free code by entering your email address.
And, I also learned that while the coupon codes are one time use, the one time is per credit or debit card. So, if you, like me, get rebates in the form of gift cards, that is considered a card. So you can use that gift card for several free movies, then move on to the next card. Today I was able to get 2 movies for the girls on the same gift card by using two different coupon codes.
They are watching the 1st one on the laptop now. And I'm so glad, because we went to the Farmers Market this morning. They used their money to buy soap with a little fishy in it and a cookie from the cookie vendor. It's a large cookie. They're wired. And I'm tired.
Once I wake up from this nap (i've got about a good hour and 15 minutes left before the movie ends), we'll make butter from our raw cream. We're going to just shake it up in a jar until we're too tired to shake anymore.
Then, I'll straighten Apple Cakes's hair so she can get it cut for $4.99 at Great Clips. Then we're going over to Picture People to use our free coupon for a set of pictures.
Then I also promised them a visit to the park.
Then I've still got to make dinner. It'll probably be leftovers or sandwiches. They like sandwiches. And I like that they like sandwiches.
Then we'll shower and go to bed. Early.
