Rite Aid This Week - Free After Rebate

To "apply" for your Rite Aid rebate, simply log on to www.riteaid.com after your purchase. You will then enter information directly from your receipt. At the end of the rebate period, request your rebate and it will be mailed to you. However, if you forget to request your rebate, it will take a little longer, but it will STILL be mailed to you. Here are the free after rebate items for this week (don't forget to use coupons to make the deals better than free!):

Kotex Maxi Pads (14-24 ct), Lightdays Pantiliners, or Security Tampons (coupon available) - $3.00 or FAR (Free After Rebate) all week

AXE Shower Gel or AXE Shower Detailer Tool $3.99 or FAR

L'OREAL Age Perfect Radiance Perfector Tinted Moisturizer $15.99 or FAR

Charles Worthington Dream Hair Shampoo, Conditioner or Stylers $6.99 or FAR**

Oral-B Artica Toothbrush $2.49 or FAR

Citre Shine $5.99 or FAR**

Citre Shine Miracle, Shine Mist, Pomade, or Gloss Gelee $3.99 or FAR**

Sally Hansen Lip Treatments FAR up to $7.50

DentaBurst Teeth Cleaners $1.99 or FAR

Visa or MasterCard Prepaid Card $9.95 or FAR

GE Power Source Power Strip $5.00 or FAR

GE Indoor Extension Cords 6 or 9 ft $2.00 or FAR

**Some of the items must be purchased by 10/28 in order to qualify for the rebate.

Rite Aid also has a $30 gift card available for transferring your prescription to them. Take advantage of it! I keep my smaller coupon organizer in my purse for stuff like this so, when I run into a situation in which a random coupon could help, I have immediate access to it. I have department store coupons, restaurant coupons, and big-box retailer coupons in it. I clean it out about once a month. It definitely comes in handy.

In-ad coupon for B1G1Free on any single bag of HALLS (up to $2.49)

Review the ad for additional savings. As soon as you get to a computer, apply for your rebate. That way you've taken care of it right away...before you lose your receipt.

Many people try to avoid the drug stores because of their high prices, but when you start getting many of your household items FAR or very cheaply, you will LOVE the drugstores. You will start to learn where each one is in proximity to your work or home.

CVS is One of My Favorite Places to Shop!!!

This week at CVS: Here are good deals, some free items after rebate, and some money makers!
M&Ms 2/$3 - $1/2 coupon=$1 each bag
Nova Max Blood Glucose Monitoring System $9.99 - $9.99 ECB=Free after ECB (appears to be a limit of 5, although ad says 1). Many people donate these the shelters.
SoyJoy Nutrition Bars 4/$4 - $4ECB=Free after ECB (We dislike these things, but so many people love them!) There were coupons for these in 09/07 and 10/19 ads. You could buy and donate these if you don't like them.
Bic Comfort3 Advance Shavers 4 ct. $5.99 - $4 ECB= $1, but there were coupons in 09/14 and 10/12 ads which would make these FREE after ECB or money makers. Limit 4. Never pay for razors. Free all year long.

I've been CVSing for almost 5 years now. Sometimes the deals are amazing, other times you can't find anything good, but, generally, you'll be able to find most of your health and beauty items free or almost free.

Just remember to never throw away your coupons until they have passed their expiration date. Even if you don't clip them, just set them aside until you need them. Then clip right before going to the store. If the store doesn't have the item in stock, then ask for a raincheck and be sure the cashier writes on the raincheck the amount of ECBs that would have printed had they had the item in stock.

Glade PlugIns at Kroger

The Glade PlugIns Scented Oil Warmer is $4.49 at Kroger. Buy 2 ($8.98). Combine that with the B1G1Free coupon (back down to $4.49). Pay $4.49 plus tax and receive 2 Catalina Coupons (the coupons that print at the register sometimes) for $4 off your next order for each PlugIns. So, you've spent $4.49 and will receive $8 towards your next purchase(s). The deal expires November 2nd.

I'm just a single mom

Hello.

I'm a single mom working 2 jobs to make ends meet. God has charged me with the care of 2 of the smartest, cutest, and funniest little girls. I search the internet looking for ways to save both money and time. The money I save allows special treats or extra payments toward debt and the time I save allows more time with the girls and some extra sleep! Sooner or later, I'd like to be able to say that I am making inroads in becoming both debt free and increasing my savings.

Time and time again I'm being told to start blogging and sharing my savings with others. Well, I do share my savings, but usually it's through email. This is my first attempt at blogging. We'll see how it goes.
